Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counselor (Master) MUST pass a level 2 background screening for State of Florida.
10-15 hours per week for group work.

1099/Contractor Job Summary Mental Health treatment and Substance Abuse Counseling are instrumental in the client's treatment and recovery.
Therapsits are expected to provide high-quality, compassionate care through various theoretical models which may include both individual and group counseling sessions.
This role includes treatment and documentation of the client's progress in treatment.
At times couple's counseling and family therapy may also be requested depending on referral.
This office also works with military Veterans, therefore experience with Vets is a plus.
Essential Function/Job Duties Based on experience, the therapist would complete individual initial evaluation for mental health, couples counseling, family sessions and then establish treatment plan and complete documentation.
Conduct group sessions for substance abuse, based on experience.
May co-facilitate assigned group sessions for substance abuse; Ensure all documentation regarding client care, treatment and completed timely and in a clear, concise manner; May act as a liaison between referral sources and clients; Provide crisis intervention to clients, as needed; Perform other duties as assigned.
